Every fall, during fire prevention week.  The Bolton Volunteer Fire Company educates the students of the Bolton Central School on fire prevention.  This includes coloring contests, handouts, and a new smoke detector battery for each student.  They get a really cool Halloween trick or treat bag too. 

Starting this year, our company has expanded its fire prevention activities to include Student DWI prevention.   On May 1st., students from the Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes from Bolton Central came to the station for a talk about drinking and driving.  In addition, the New York State Police Rollover simulator was on hand, and the program concluded with an extrication demonstration by members of the Fire Company.  Any feedback from students, teachers, or parents on this program would be greatly appreciated.
